While at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Scott focused his
performing energies in the vocal department so that he might bring his
singing level to that of his piano playing.
Scott received first place at the NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing)
competitions each of the four years he entered.
He has performed solo work in professional opera productions
as well as in professional choral concerts and recordings.
